This week at the Current we continued our tour around Europe with a stop in Switzerland, revisited some old favorites, and more. As always, catch up on what you missed with our Week in Review.

Switzerland was our Country of the Week. We examined the unique history of this landlocked country and discussed why national sovereignty and neutrality is such a big part of Swiss national identity. See more HERE.

Our Travel Guide took to the breathtaking peaks and ritzy cities found throughout Switzerland. It may not always be the cheapest, but there’s more than enough here to make up for that. Get our guide HERE.

Our Currency Spotlight wrapped up the last of the ‘majors’ in a nice little bow. We looked at the history of Swiss currency, the effects of the ‘Francogeddon’, and provided some insights into the country’s economy HERE.

Most Iconic Mountains

Since we were in a country known across the world for its picturesque peaks, we figured now was as good a time as any to take a look back at some of the world’s most iconic mountains. See them all HERE.

If you haven’t heard already, you can get all our Country of the Week profiles, Travel Guides, and Currency Spotlights in one place – our Continental’s Countries database! Whether you’re heading to the United States or Japan, you can get it all on one simple page HERE.

Every week we round up the biggest business stories from around the world in Headlines. This week; the Fed decided to hold interest rates, we discuss what the TPP could mean for Canadian automakers, we see how US-Cuban relations are progressing, and much more HERE.

Looking Ahead

Next week we’re heading down south to visit a must-see Central American country. Beyond that, look for more of the great stories you’ve come to expect!
