This week at the Current we took a trip to Sweden, found some useful travel tips and ideas, and highlighted some of Continental Currency Exchange’s best new ways to save! If you missed anything – don’t worry! As always we’ve rounded up the best stories from this week into our review.

Sweden

Sweden was our Country of the Week. In our profile we explored Sweden’s history – from the Viking Age to the Swedish Empire – and found out about the people and places that make Sweden so special.

Then we focused on some of the places and attractions that make this Nordic nation a must see in our Travel Guide. Gorgeous cities, museums, the royal palace, one of Europe’s most intriguing theme parks, and even the subway system are just some of the reasons why it’s worth checking out Sweden any time of the year – even if you have to brave the cold!

Lastly, we took a look at the Swedish krona in our Currency Spotlight. Find out what the exchange rates are before you make the trip, learn about the Swedish economy, and impress your friends with some fun facts about the krona.
